Weโre a small, ambitious startup backed by TinySeed, and weโre looking for a skilled Full-Stack Engineer with 3+ years of experience to join our team and help us scale.
As the second technical hire and fourth team member, youโll join a small, ambitious team. Youโll collaborate with our co-founders and Senior Full-Stack Developer to enhance and expand our product.

Location
๐ This is a remote role, but we are looking for candidates in time zones with significant overlap with London hours (GMT or ยฑ3 hours) to ensure smooth collaboration.
๐ While remote, youโll have opportunities to visit our office at Sustainable Venturesโa vibrant co-working space dedicated to climate tech businesses, located near the London Eye.
Qualifications
- ๐ At least 3 years of experience as a Full-Stack Engineer or in a similar role.
Frontend Skills
- ๐ฅ๏ธ Strong experience building UIs with modern frontend frameworks, particularly React and Next.js.
- ๐ ๏ธ Proficiency in TypeScript and tools like React-Query.
- ๐ Experience with Server-Side Rendering (SSR) for building performant web applications.
Backend Skills
- ๐ Expertise in Python, with experience using libraries like Pandas, Numpy, and Quantlib (or a willingness to learn).
- ๐ Proficiency in writing optimized and efficient SQL queries for relational databases like PostgreSQL.
- ๐ Experience in building robust and scalable REST/Fast APIs.
- ๐ณ Experience with containerization tools like Docker for developing and deploying applications.
Financial & Mathematical Skills
- ๐ข Familiarity with basic financial concepts, such as interest rates and the time value of money.
- ๐ A willingness to learn about derivative pricing
AWS
- โ๏ธ Exposure to AWS services such as Lambda, RDS, EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, and API Gateway is a bonus.
- ๐ Open to learning cloud-based services and understanding their role in scaling applications effectively.
Soft Skills
- ๐งฉ Proactive problem-solving abilities and a growth mindset.
- ๐ฌ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- ๐ค A collaborative team player with a keen eye for detail when handling large data sets.
